Here is my Ode to Perdue--feathers and an egg. Salisbury is home to Perdue and so it's appropriate that we include a chicken theme among our Delmarva inspirations. I actually use a feather to press the pattern into the metal and then touch it up with a little engraving so it maintains some detail after patina. We'll be updating our site for more hand sawn feather earrings and pendants in silver, copper and brass. I should mention that no birds were plucked and all feathers were free range contributions found here on the farm.
